Rafiki identifies the calls that should be recorded based on the team member’s calendars. If native Zoom recording is enabled, Rafiki imports Zoom's meeting recording.

Connecting Rafiki to Zoom provides the following advantages:

  • Allows enabling native Zoom recording, with the highest quality recording possible.

  • Enables Rafiki to accurately attribute meetings to the right owner, and identify speakers and participants

  • When the Rafiki consent page is enabled, Rafiki syncs with personal meeting IDs automatically, without the need for users to add them manually.

Connect to Zoom

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Web Conference, and select Zoom.

  2. Click Add Integration.

  3. Follow the instructions: sign in to your Zoom account, and authorize access to Zoom.

  4. Note: You must be the Zoom administrator for your company to connect Rafiki to Zoom. Only one Zoom account per company is supported.

Rafiki connects to Zoom on the account level, leveraging OAuth authentication. We do not store any credentials, only the OAuth token.

When Zoom recording is enabled, Rafiki initiates Zoom recording for meetings and retrieves the relevant recordings based on the business rules and privacy settings in Rafiki.

When you connect to Zoom, we install a Rafiki for Zoom app instance in your Zoom account, and ask for the following permissions:

  • View all user meetings

  • View and manage all user meetings

  • View all user recordings

  • View and manage all user recordings

  • View all user information

  • View and manage all users

What to do next: Enable Zoom recording
