Problem - Don't see the button to Start Recording

Don't see the "Start Recording" button for Rafiki Chrome Extension in the Nav bar. I have created a Rafiki account and installed the Chrome extension, but Rafiki is not recording. The only option presented is to log in to Rafiki (which opens another Rafiki tab even though Rafiki is open in another tab). What am I missing?

Problem - Meeting not found in the dashboard

I stopped the recording but the meeting is not in my meeting dashboard in the Rafiki app.

Solution:

Once the recording starts you will see a window as seen in below screenshot in the background. Please do not close this window at any point. It will close automatically once the file upload has been completed.

Problem - Echo in my recording:

Why is there an echo in my recording?

Solution:
This happens if you have internal audio and speaker audio being picked up simultaneously. To solve this we suggest using headphones (with a microphone).

Best Practice Tip for Screen Sharing

  • For better presentations and to prevent mirroring, share a new window or a specific tab instead of the meeting window.
